Lorentz FRIED was born on 12 Apr 1767 in Germany. He married Elizabeth UTZ circa 1795. Lorentz and Elizabeth emigrated to Carroll Co, Maryland in the early 1800s (late 1700s). Lorentz and Elizabeth had at least five children:

Jacob Leroy FRIED was the son of Lorentz FRIED and Elizabeth UTZ. He was born 5 Oct 1805 in Maryland. He married Elizabeth SHERMAN on 18 Aug 1835. Jacob and Elizabeth had at least seven children:

  7. Jacob FRIED, b. 12 Feb 1851, d. 12 Feb 1851
Jacob Leroy FRIED died on 9 Dec 1885, probably at his home of Codorus Township, York Co, Pennsylvania. He was buried at the Bethlehem Steltz Church Cemetery.

Ellen Mary FRIED was the daughter of Jacob Leroy FRIED and Elizabeth SHERMAN. She was born on 15 Oct 1835 in Maryland. She married Cornelious Victor BRESSLER, son of John BRESSLER and Catharine LAWSON, circa 1853. Ellen and Cornelious had at least five childen, listed with their father.

Ellen Mary (FRIED) BRESSLER died on 26 Feb 1926. She was buried at Bethlehem Steltz Church Cemetery, Codorus Township, York Co, Pennsylvania.
