Moses LAWSON Sr. was the son of John LAWSON and Frances (--?--). He was born on 10 May 1736 at Baltimore, Maryland. He married Mary TAYLOR on 16 Jan 1763 at the Lutheran Church of York County, York, Pennsylvania. Moses and Mary had at least six children:

1. Benjamin LAWSON, b. Dec 1763
2. Joseph LAWSON
3. Francis LAWSON, b. 1767
4. Richard LAWSON, b. 1769
5. Moses LAWSON, b. 1770
6. Edward LAWSON, b. 1772

Joseph LAWSON was the son of Moses LAWSON Sr. and Mary TAYLOR. He was born on 16 Feb 1765. He married Magdalene BAUGHMAN. Joseph and Magdalene had at least five children:

1. Susana LAWSON
2. Catharine LAWSON
3. John LAWSON
4. Samuel LAWSON
5. William LAWSON

Catharine LAWSON was the daughter of Joseph LAWSON and Magdalene BAUGHMAN. She was born on 11 Apr 1805 in Pennsylvania. She married John BRESSLER, son of John BRESSLER and Elizabeth MINNICH, on 27 Jan 1825. Catharine and John had at least thirteen children, listed with their father.

Catharine (LAWSON) BRESSLER died on 1 Sep 1881.
