This Indenture Made and Entered
unto this the Fifteenth day of April
in the year of our Lord One thousa[nd]
Eight hundred and Sixty one by
and between Leopold Wasmer
and Margaret Wasmer his wife
of the first part and Joseph Wasm[er]
Mary Catharine Wasmer, Michael
Wasmer and John Herman Wasm[er]
Minor children of the Said Leopol[d]
and Margaret Wasmer of the sec[ond]
part all of the County of Saint Charles
in the State of Missouri
Witnesseth that for and in Considerat[ion]
of the sum of One dollar in hand paid
by the parties of the Second part to the par[ties]
of the first part the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged and for [the]
further consideration of the love
and affection the said parties of [the]
first part have and entertain for [the]
parties of the Second part The parties o[f]
the first part do by these presents gra[?]
bargin Sell alien and convey un[to]
the parties of the Second part all t[he]
right title interest and claim in ai[?]
to all of the property real and persona[l]
Situated and being in Saint Charles Co
and Elsewhere in the State of Missour[i]
that the Said Leopold Wasmer and Marg[aret]
his wife either or both of them inherits
jointly or Severally from Lawrence Wa[smer]
Father of the Said Leopold Wasmer
and for a More particular description
of the property and interest intended
to be conveyed by this deed to the par[ties]
of the Second part by the parties of th[e]
first part refferences is made to the
Will of the Said Lawrence Wasmer
now on file and of record in the reco[rd]
office in Saint Charles County Mi[ss]
ouri It being all the interest in the prop[erty]
bequeathed in Said Will by the Said
Lawrence Wasmer to the Said Leopo[ld]
Wasmer To have and to hold thi[s]
Same together with all of its increase[d]
ammenities and appurtenances thus
belonging or in any wise appertaining t[o]
the parties of the Second part thus hur[?]
and assigns former free from all
incumberances whatsoever and the part[ies]
of the first part covenant and agree
to warrant and defend the title o[f]
the same to the parties of the Second
part against themselves and all ot[her]
persons holding under them and
none others

have here unto Subscribed our

Deed: Leopold and Margaret Wasmer (2)

Be it remembered that Leopold Wasmer and
Margaret his wife, who are personally known to the
undersigned, a Justice of the Peace within and for
said County, to be the persons whose names are Sub-
scribed to the foregoing deed as parties thereto, this
day appeared before me and acknowledged that they
executed and delivered the same as their voluntary
act and deed for the uses and purposes therein contained.
And the said Margaret being by me made acquai-
ted with the contents of said deed, acknowledged
on an examination apart from her said husband that
she executed the same and relinquishes her dower in
the real estate therein mentioned freely and without
compulsion of her said husband. or his undue influence
